teyla strikes a pose

this is an oil painting i did in between class assignments. this heavily influenced the drawing "whoopin' sticks". and there was no intention to depict her as a jedi or sith person. the sticks are glowing because of my new fascination with bouncing light off of the objects in my paintings. i needed a nearby light source so i used the fighting sticks.
